A day at Memory Lane

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are home-cooked and eaten together at the table, with help for anyone who finds chewing or swallowing hard. In between, our daily activities are led with recreational therapy in mind — built around what each person still enjoys and can still do, with time on the porch and one-on-one moments in between.
Physicians, podiatrists, therapists, and hairdressers visit the homes, so most appointments come to your loved one instead of the other way around. Housekeeping and laundry are simply done. Evenings wind down quietly, and a caregiver is in the house all night.
Families are part of the day too. Our residents come from neighborhoods all around Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor, and many are visited several times a week. Some families moved a parent here to be closer to grandchildren, or closer to U-M Health, and we work regularly with discharge planners and clinicians at U-M Health and other Washtenaw County providers.
