What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as tags and pixels.

Categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. We store your choice in a first-party cookie named memorylane_cookie_consent (value “accepted” or “declined”, kept for one year). Choosing “Essential Only” keeps only these.
  • Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site (for example, Google Analytics 4 loaded through Google Tag Manager, container GTM-KFRM8Q34) so we can improve it. Loaded only with your consent.
  • Marketing. Support measurement of advertising (for example, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tags, if campaigns are running). Loaded only with your consent.

Our contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam and bot protection, and the site loads an accessibility toolbar from UserWay. These are provided by third parties and operate under their own policies.

Your consent and Google Consent Mode

By default, all non-essential storage is set to “denied” (Google Consent Mode v2). Google Tag Manager and the tags it loads do not run until you choose “Accept All” on our cookie banner. Choosing “Essential Only” leaves everything except strictly necessary cookies turned off.

Managing your choices

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings button in the bottom-left corner of the site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended. For text-message preferences, reply STOP to any message.
