Memory Lane has three of them on Carpenter Road in Ypsilanti, known as Merritt House, Carpenter House, and Stoneham House. Each is a six-bedroom house on a quiet residential street, licensed by the state of Michigan as an Adult Foster Care (AFC) residence — the license that allows a real home to provide round-the-clock personal care.
Every resident has their own private bedroom with plenty of room to move about. Meals are cooked in the kitchen and shared at the table with caregivers and housemates, the way a family eats. Two caregivers are on shift in each home throughout the day and one overnight, so help is hands-on and unhurried. Above all, we make our homes a place where your loved one feels they belong.
